The safe mode is only available on Apple’s LiDAR devices. It was introduced on the 2.0.3 version.
It allows disabling the scan visualization on LiDAR devices and fixes crashes that some users might encounter.
This will hide the “green mesh” of the LiDAR technology. However, this will not affect the end results of the scan, please, always remember to follow the best scanning technique.
Even if the safe mode is enabled, the final floor plan will have the total square footage as normally.
To enable it, please go to Settings & info, and enable it at the bottom.
