The team

The Talent Acquisition Team is made up of 10 dedicated recruiting professionals skilled in both strategic and high-volume staffing and search.  We collaborate daily and work as a team to meet both team and personal goals.  

What you will work on

You will be tasked with finding great talent to fill our key roles but you will also write job descriptions, screen resumes, interview candidates, extend job offers, implement onboarding strategies and keep accurate records of all candidates and new hires. While the job of a corporate recruiter may be highly focused, our recruiters can get more in-depth into human resources activities. By managing the recruiting strategies for an entire company, you can get valuable experience that will enhance your career as a well-rounded recruiter. 

Outside of recruiting candidates, you will be required to also work on projects like:

  • Recruitment Marketing/Branding campaigns
  • ATS Administration and ATS automation
  • Onboarding coordination
  • Talent Advising
  • Recruiting event management and set up
  • Collaboration on compensation, job leveling and job description development 
  • Quarterly reporting and talent market updates 
  • Talent pipelining and mentoring of sourcers
  • Training jr. recruiters as needed

Requirements 

  • 6+ years of recruiting expertise in a high growth environment
  • Knowledge of local Finnish employment laws and regulations
  • Experience in recruiting for a global organization 
  • Flexibility in dealing with shifting priorities
  • Exposure to recruiting technical/non-technical roles simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to support rapid growth
  • Positive and proactive approach to working with others

Nice to have skills

  • Previous startup experience
  • Exposure to modern HR systems (Jobvite, Lever/Greenhouse, etc)

Senior Backend Developer (Infrastructure)

Position

We are looking for a software engineer to join our backend team. Our backend team is responsible for building the CubiCasa Core platform. Together the team designs and implements a collection of APIs and services ranging from machine learning pipelines to web APIs used by internal tools and customer facing services. This particular role will place a bigger emphasis on developing and maintaining our backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, expand and, maintain APIs
  • (cloud) Infrastructure development and maintenance
  • Micro-services orchestration via self-hosted Kubernetes
  • Detect infrastructural weakness and bottleneck, present technical proposals on how to improve them
  • Improve, develop and, maintain CI/CD structure
  • Automation of the manual processes

Your Technical Background

  • Great knowledge/experience in DevOps toolsets
  • Extensive knowledge/experience in at least one of the major programming languages
  • Experience with managing Kubernetes in production environment
  • Production-grade web development experience
  • Familiarity with databases
  • Familiarity with GIT
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • 3+ years of industry working experience with a strong focus on DevOps tasks

Product Manager

 

Position

We are looking for a product manager to take the lead of our building information modeling software and its supporting tools as well as the APIs running behind the system. Some of the tools and APIs are customer facing. You will work closely with our core technology and production teams. Ultimately your primary responsibility is to enable the team to build intuitive and efficient features that help to create CubiCasa information models and help our customers to benefit from the use of CubiCasa APIs for their use case.

 

About the job

  • You oversee, prioritize and manage the backlog together with your development teams
  • You interact with our biggest customers, internal stakeholders and developers to figure out the right problems to solve at the right time. We have lots of data and great feedback channels to support you in your work
  • You shape our product vision and product roadmap together with other product managers and the management team
  • You broadcast information and knowledge across the teams

 

Your qualifications

  • BS or MS in some field of engineering or similar experience as a Software Engineer, Designer, Project Manager or Product manager
  • At least 3 years of experience as product/project manager
  • You are familiar with building information models or any CAD software
  • You have used kanban tools such as Trello or Monday
  • Former experience about web APIs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Finnish

UI & UX Designer

Description

We are looking for a versatile Swiss army knife in the form of a UI & UX designer. This role is a vertical position in which you interact across our development teams providing UX and UI related support to CubiCasa mobile apps, CubiCasa web portal, floor plan editor and our internal task management tool. Your primary responsibility is to design new user flows and interfaces together with our product managers and team leads, but from time to time there are needs to design icons or illustrations for our user interfaces.

 

About the job

  • You build rapid prototypes in Figma for demonstration purposes
  • You help to implement intuitive and user friendly interfaces for our products together with the development teams
  • You strengthen our brand and visual identity through unifying our design language and stellar focus on visual details

 

Your qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in UX and design
  • Experience with B2B tech products is a considered a plus
  • You are fluent in Figma and Adobe toolset or Sketch
  • Experience in mapping user journeys and making use of user analytics to build great experiences to our users
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Finnish
  • You know how to collaborate and communicate across different teams

DevOps Engineer

 

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical lead and CTO  to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.


Our backend team is responsible for building CubiCasa Core platform. Together the team designs and implements  a collection of APIs and services ranging from machine learning pipelines to web APIs used by internal tools and customer facing services.

 

Technical Background

  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Good knowledge on Kubernetes and Docker
  • Good knowledge on AWS

 

Requirements

  • Great written and spoken English
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Must be able to meet deadlines but still withstand delays and raise issues
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time
